Slayer are ready to say their final goodbyes on their “Final World Tour”. Their last tour will take them to the Uber Arena on 2 December 2018 where they will give a concert with the support of Lamb of God, Anthrax and Obituary.
Since their founding in 1981 the group that started out as an Iron Maiden and Judas Priest cover band has come a long way. Nowadays they can proudly call themselves one of the “Big Four of Trash Metal” next to other legendary bands such as Megadeath, Metallica and Anthrax.
After 37 years as a band, 12 studio albums, almost 3.000 concerts and two grammy’s they decided to call it quits after one last farewell tour to thank fans for their on-going support over the years. From a small underground group to playing concerts at some of the world’s biggest venues – Slayer are a role model for a vast amount of new Trash-Metal groups.
