On 8 December 8 2018, "We love MMA" is returning to the Uber Arena. The spectacular fights series in the octagon was founded in 2014 in Berlin. With a quickly growing fan base, "We love MMA" is touring all over Germany and is now coming back to the Uber Arena for the third time in a row.
MMA is short for Mixed Material Arts. The full contact sport allows a wide variation of traditional and nontraditional fighting techniques. The rules allow punching and ground combat techniques, such as Boxing, Kick Boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Kung Fu, Judo and Grappling. All "We Love MMA" events are controlled by the Grappling and Mixed Material Arts Association e.V. (GAMMA) and have to follow strict, US-Government approved rules and standards.
