Bag policy and security screenings
Welcome to the Verti Music Hall.
It's best to get to the venue as early as possible so you have enough time to get through security and find your seat. If you come by car, give yourself plenty of time for parking. We'll get you in as quickly and safely as we can, but the car parks can fill up quickly on an event day. Arriving early usually means you avoid the big queues and can pass through security faster. For most events at the Verti Music Hall, doors open 90 minutes before the show starts. Event times can change, sometimes on short notice, so make sure you check the event page for the latest info.
We take the safety and security of all of our guests, artists and staff very seriously. Visitors may only bring bags that do not exceed the size of "DIN A4", but it's better for everyone if you do not bring a bag at all.
Guests are permitted to take one small bag/handbag with a maximum size of “DIN A4” (21.0 x 29.7cm). Security staff check the size of the bags at the entrance with the help of a template.
Depending on the event, the respective promoter of the show may determine even stricter rules. It’s best to check the event page before your visit for further details.
There is limited storage capacity for bags that exceed the allowed size limit, at a cost of 6 EUR per bag. The fee is charged to cover the costs for this service only. Any potential surplus will be donated to the charity organization "Anschutz hilft e.V.".
If you have to bring a large bag with you, we recommend using the storage facilities at Ostbahnhof station, which is located only short walk from the venue.
We are aware of the need for security among our guests, artists and promoters. That’s why the Verti Music Hall uses detectors at the doors.
The screening procedure is quick and easy – please follow the instructions from our staff and pass through the screening arch when asked to.
