Ian Anderson is not one for birthdays or anniversaries, but every rule has its exception and the musician is willing to make said exception for Jethro Tull’s Golden Anniversary! And what says CELEBRATION more than a world tour? One of the tour stops will bring him and his band to Berlin where they are set to perform at the Uber Eats Music Hall on 19 November 2018. 33 musicians joined and left the band since its first performance in 1968, but one of the members stayed through it all: founder, frontman and flute player Ian Anderson. It is in great parts thanks to his dedication and skill that Jethro Tull became one of the most successful bands of its era with over 60 million sold albums.
The world tour titled “Jethro Tull by Ian Anderson – 50th Anniversary Tour” will present a great mix of 50 years of band history on the stage at the Uber Eats Music Hall.
