With their new tour the Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer will perform live at the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin on April 26th, 2022.

The pop-punk band 5 Seconds of Summer (short "5SOS") was formed in 2011 in Sydney. The band consists of guitarists Luke Hemmings and Michael Clifford, bassist Calum Hood, and drummer Ashton Irwin. They started with posting cover versions of famous songs on Youtube when they were discovered by the British-Irish boy band One Direction who invited them to join their tour as an opening act. The 5SOS debut single "She Looks So Perfect" reached the top of the charts in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. 5 Seconds of Summer have released multiple studio albums and singles since then which received a lot of positive feedback from the public. They became the first Australian artists who had three number-one albums on the Billboard 200 album charts. After the band spent the year 2017 with writing their third album and "redefining themselves" as Irwin put it, they released the album "Youngblood" in June of 2018.
